Day 01 - Kota
Kinabalu/ Kinabalu Park/ Laban Rata (Dinner)
0700hrs- pick up
from Airport/City hotel and driven through scenic mountain road and rustic
villages. After 2 hours’ drive, you will arrive at the foothills of Mount
Kinabalu where the park headquarters is located. Proceed for registration and
meet your mountains guide. At 0730hrs, set off and up Mt Kinabalu. Arrive at
Laban Rata around 1400hrs and you can have your self-paid lunch at Laban Rata
Restaurant. at 1500hrs, check into Pendant Hut and meet your Mt Torq trainer
for via ferrata familirization. Dinner at the Laban Rata Restaurant at 1800hrs.
Free at own leisure. Overnight at Pendant Hut.
Day 02 - Laban Rata/
Summit/ Kinabalu Park/ Kota Kinabalu (Supper/ Breakfast)
At 0230Hrs, take
your early supper and prepare yourself for the final assault to conquer the
summit of Mount Kinabalu. You should be at the summit just as the sun begins to
rise. Observe the spectacular scenery right below you. At around 0545hrs,
decent Low's Peak and proceeds to Low's Peak Circuit activity. At the end of
your activity, proceed down to Laban Rata for late breakfast. Check out from
Pendant Hut and then down to the park headquarters. Collect your certificate of
achievement and drive back to city hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
It is recommended
that you wear snickers, outdoor clothing and wind breakers.
