2D1N Mountain Biking

Sabah, Malaysian Borneo is blessed with a natural landscape ideal for mountain biking. Trails are designed and tailored made to suit guest preference either through jungle clad tracks, coastal tracks, hilly terrain or tracks running through villages. Ideally, it would be a combination of jungle clad tracks, some hilly and passing through villages and thereafter coastal treks and finishing by a secluded beach lodge such as the Tempurung Seaside Lodge.

Day One

Pick up from city hotel and transfer to Tempurung Seaside Lodge. After lunch, a half day mountain biking adventure through rugged terrain and serene villages.

At 1630Hrs, back to the lodge thereafter free and easy. Swim or just laze around the stunning white sandy beach.

Day Two

After breakfast, another half day biking experience through picturesque landscape. After lunch, transfer back to city hotel.

3D2N Danum Rainforest

Danum valley is located in the heart of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. It is within the the Sabah Foundation Forest Reserve which is approximately 438 square kilometers. A rich diversity of animals and plants are found here. It is a sanctuary for over 110 mammals which includes the Sumatran Rhino, 10 species of primates, orang utan and the proboscis monkeys to name a few. It is here that conservationist and naturalist converge to oversee research projects, for education, training and wilderness recreation.

Located in this wild are the Borneo Rainforest Lodge and The Danum Field Research Centre. The Borneo Rainforest Lodge offers a slightly up-market facilities compare to the Danum Field Research Centre which offers budget but comfortable accommodation.

Day One

Take the morning flight out from Kota Kinabalu to Lahad Datu and proceed overland for three hours’ drive along dirt tracks through primary rainforest. Check in at the Borneo Rainforest Lodge. After lunch, walk through the nature trail ad proceed to the canopy walkway.  After dinner, a slide presentation. Overnight at the lodge.

Day Two

After breakfast, trek to the canopy walkway, coffin cliff, the kadazan burial site and then to view point where you can have an bird’s eye view of the rainforest. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, free for own pursuits.  Dinner will be served at 7 pm and go for a night drive in search of nocturnal animals.

Day Three

After breakfast, guided morning walk. Lunch at 1130Hrs and thereafter transfer to Lahad Datu for your flight back to Kota Kinabalu

Full Day Padas White Water Rafting

At 0730Hrs, your guide and driver will pick you up at your designated pick up point. A one and half hour drive through picturesque rice fields and coastal road brings you to Beaufort where most houses and shops are built on stilts to avoid flooding from the Padas River.

From Beaufort, take a nostalgic train ride to Pangi. Your train will meander along the Padas River and you can get a glimpse of your adventure is going to be. At Pangi, a small outpost, after a short safety briefing, commence your rafting adventure. Almost two hours of non-stop adrenalin pumping excitement navigating through huge boulders and gushing rapids. You will stop at Rayoh, again a small outpost where a BBQ lunch will be served. Take the train back to Beaufort and thereafter drive to Kota Kinabalu city hotel.

Tours includes 2 way transfers, train ride, rafting. Rafting equipment, river guide and BBQ lunch.

We recommend that you wear laced shoe or sandal and bring along swimming costumes, towels, extra clothing, insect repellent and sun block.

Food consists of light refreshment upon arrival served with slice cake, muffin or bun and local fruits. BBQ lunch consist of lamb, sausages, chicken wings, fried rice, fresh salad, corn and local fruits.

Full Day Manukan Island Excursion (Tunku Abdul Rahman Park)

Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, a cluster of islands just 20 minutes boat ride from the city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Here you can just laze around, snorkel or swim and explore the islands exotic corals and macro fishes.

Pick up from city hotel at 0900Hrs and proceed to Sutera Harbour Jetty for your boat ride to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Thereafter free and easy until your transfer back to the city at 1500Hrs. In between, a sumptuous BBQ lunch will be served.
